AMNI boss backs new book, ‘Energy Insight Nigeria’

The chairman of AMNI International Petroleum, Chief Tunde Afolabi has commended the Centre for Petroleum Information (CPI) for marking a milestone in the oil and gas industry by publishing an authoritative reference book during its 20th-anniversary event which held in Lagos recently.

The 440-page book with the title, ‘Energy Insight Nigeria’ was edited by a veteran in the Industry, Victor Eromosele. It captures the thoughts of 45 contributors, some of which are the brightest minds in the energy industry in Africa.

Making his remark at the event, Chief Afolabi noted that members of CPI Board of Governors as well as the Chief Host of the anniversary event, Chief Chamberlin Oyibo have done well by documenting two decades of industry history in the new book while setting an agenda for the next two decades.

The anniversary occasion was graced by dignitaries drawn from the oil and gas industry including Dr. A.B.C Orjiakor who was the Chief Presenter of the book. Also at the event, Gbenga Oyebode spoke on “Salvaging the Unrealised Nigerian Vision 2020.”

The Centre of Petroleum Information (CPI) is an educational, hydrocarbon-specific non-profit organisation established to pool expert knowledge and share value-adding information for the benefit of its members and the industry. Registered in 2000, as an association “limited by guarantee,” CPI is committed to “creating value through knowledge and network.” CPI aims to ultimately provide a one-stop shop for petroleum information.
